We collect your email and the training content you create. Your videos and images are private — only you can see them. We don't sell your data, we don't track you across other apps, and you can delete your account and everything in it at any time.
FlowVault is operated by Frances Tang, trading as Small Batch Ventures ("FlowVault," "we," "us," or "our"). We are the data controller for the information described below. Questions? Email frantang3@gmail.com.
This policy applies to anyone who uses the FlowVault mobile app or visits flowvault.app. FlowVault is a training tracker for pole dancers, aerial artists, and circus performers. Because the content you upload can include videos of your practice, we take your privacy seriously.
Account information
Your email address — used to create your account, sign you in, and send essential account notices (password resets, service changes). Nothing else.
Your content
Move names, notes, tags, practice logs, and routine compositions you create inside FlowVault — stored so you can access your training history. Videos and images you upload of your own practice — stored privately in your account. Only you can see them.
Subscription information
Whether you have an active subscription and which tier — managed through Apple and RevenueCat (see Section 4).
What we do NOT collect:
We use your data to run the app — storing and showing you your content, processing subscriptions, sending essential account emails, fixing bugs, and responding to support. That's it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not train AI models on your content.
Legal basis (EU/UK users under GDPR)
Performance of contract (to deliver the service), legitimate interests (security and improvement), legal obligation (where required by law).
We use a small number of trusted providers. Each processes data only on our instructions.

If you are in the EU or UK, your data may be transferred to the United States. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and our processors' own compliance frameworks to protect it.
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and uploaded media within 30 days, except where we're required to keep limited records (for example, subscription transaction history for tax purposes). Backups may retain copies for up to 90 days before being fully overwritten.
For everyone: You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Email frantang3@gmail.com from your account's email address and we'll respond within 30 days.
EU/UK/EEA residents (GDPR): You also have the right to data portability, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what we collect, delete your data, correct inaccurate data, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information. You won't be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest, and strict access controls. No service can guarantee perfect security, but we take it seriously and will notify affected users promptly in the event of a breach, as required by law.
FlowVault is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe your child has created an account, email frantang3@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly. Because pole and aerial content often involves athletic attire, we recommend FlowVault for users 18 and over.
When we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date above and notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
